|The final step in the whole process is to find
what the release (DIN) setting should be for your specific bindings and
ski boots based on your adjusted skier code. It is necessary to adjust
both your front and back
bindings such that the DIN (release) number from the correct cell of the table below is
selected. This value is a function of your adjusted skier code and the sole length of
your specific ski boots. It is thus important to find the correct length of
your ski boot sole in order to set the correct release (DIN) setting. You should
find that this length, in mm, is written on the side of your ski boots.
Most modern ski boots include this number either etched into the plastic
or on a sticker on the boot. If it is not present, or the sticker has
come off then you can simply measure it with a tape measure as
illustrated in the diagram on the right.
