HOW TO FIND THE DIN (RELEASE) SETTING
FOR YOUR SKI BINDINGS

STEP 4 - FIND YOUR DIN SETTING FOR YOUR BINDINGS

The final step is to find the DIN (release) setting for your bindings. You should adjust your front and back bindings so that the DIN number from the correct cell of the table below is selected. This value is a function of your skier code and the sole length of your ski boots. For this reason it is important to find the correct length of your ski boot sole. Often this is written on the side of your boots but if not you can simply measure it with a tape measure.

Measuring boot sole length
  1. Find your Adjusted Skier Code from Step 3 along the top row of the table below.
  2. Find the Sole Length of your ski boots in mm at the left of the table below.
  3. Find your DIN setting value by finding the location where the column for your Adjusted Skier Code from Step 3 and the row for your Boot Sole Length cross.
  4. Note your DIN setting value this is the release value that you need to set your front and rear binding on both skis to.
